Diabetes Philippines recommends the following for you to stay healthy while at home.
You can eat lots of leafy vegetables and the allowable serving of fruits with your usual low fat, less salty and less carb meals. You should also stay hydrated.
You should exercise for at least 30 minutes every day. Examples of exercise include dancing or using the treadmill at home.
Blood Sugar Monitoring
You should check your blood sugar regularly.
Take Your Prescribed Medicines
You should inject your Insulins as per normal.
Remain at Home
You should STAY AT HOME as diabetic patients are more vulnerable to getting a more serious infection if they are infected with COVID-19.
